This plasma thawing bath has been designed for use in hospital blood banks.
It will thaw frozen plasma quickly and with the minimum of user intervention.
By using a relatively small volume of water, a high capacity circulation system,
and a high quality temperature controller, packs can be quickly defrosted or brought to 37degC.
* Holds up to four, 250ml bags in single use pockets
* 4 fixed temperatures and 10 programmable ramps
* Thawing time 30 minutes
The packs of plasma are held in plastic pockets which are clipped into the bath.
This effectively means a "dry bag" system with no bath water in contact with the
plasma pack. The outside of the pack remains much cleaner during subsequent
handling.
